Our family is dedicated to providing happy and healthy dogs for your family.
Cheri's Country Canines is a professional breeder with AKC and licensed in rural Pierce County Washington as a Commercial Kennel. It is owned by the father and daughter team of Matt and Leah Ouellette.
Our operation was named in honor of our resident animal whisper Cheri. Cheri has been raising animals all her life and raising Goldens since 2015.
A dog in the right place at the right time can bring smiles for generations.
Cheri's Country Canines was made possible by Coulee Country Kennels who gifted Cheri her first service dog Obie, and by Matt and Leah who established the business to create a purpose for Cheri and Obie. We focus on breeding animals based on health, temperament, and train-ability. Our dogs are raised on a farm with horses, cows, goats, cats, and chickens with fields to run through and a creek to play in. We have five generations in our family so all of our dogs are loved by infants, children, adults and seniors.
